I am a Finnish painter originally from Oulu, now based in Helsinki. Working mainly in oil, I capture solitude and fleeting emotions through color and atmosphere. My work reflects the contrasts of the north—stillness and movement, longing and presence. For me, painting is a way of meditating and creating something lasting in the world.

My technique involves using thick layers of oils, often working alla prima and using a palette knife to create textured, dynamic surfaces that capture the rawness of the subject. Through this process, I want to connect with the viewer on a deeply personal level. I hope my paintings make you stop and offer a moment of reflection on your own inner world.
